Welcome to the VOICE EU Project!
A project that is dedicated to promoting active participation of European citizens in the democratic process, fostering their awareness and engagement in both national and European political contexts, while encouraging participatory and shared involvement through the implementation and use of digital tools.
VOICE-EU: Valuing Opportunities for Inclusive Civic Engagement in Europe is an Erasmus+ Small-scale Partnership in Adult Education (KA210-ADU) running for 18 months (October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2026) across three European countries: Italy, Greece, and Spain. Coordinated by Timeducation di Tiziana Marinelli (Italy), the project brings together three partner organizations committed to promoting active civic engagement and democratic participation among European adults through non-formal learning.

Our Target Groups
We engage diverse adult learners across all three participating countries:
Young adults (18-30 years): Students, early-career professionals, and individuals with limited opportunities
Older adults (65+ years): Experienced citizens with valuable historical perspectives
Professionals and community leaders: Educators, journalists, local officials, and civil society representatives
Community members: All citizens interested in strengthening European democracy
Learning Outcomes
Through our activities, adult participants develop critical competences in:
Digital Literacy: Safe and critical navigation of online information, recognition and countering of misinformation
Civic Competences: Understanding of national and European institutions, informed participation in democratic processes
Critical Thinking: Analysis of political information, evaluation of media sources, resistance to extremism
European Citizenship Awareness: Knowledge of EU values, institutions, and opportunities for civic participation
Intergenerational Dialogue: Exchange of perspectives between generations on history, politics, and European identity
Our Educational Approach
VOICE-EU employs non-formal adult education methodologies that emphasize:
Participatory learning: Active engagement through discussions, debates, and hands-on activities
Peer-to-peer exchange: Intergenerational dialogue and cross-cultural learning
Digital innovation: Use of gamification and online tools to enhance engagement and accessibility
Practical application: Real-world scenarios and case studies relevant to participants’ daily lives
Inclusive design: Accessible formats for all learners, regardless of educational background or socioeconomic status

Lifelong Learning Commitment
VOICE-EU supports continuous skill development beyond the project activities. Our online game remains freely accessible for five years, our documentary and training materials are openly available, and our partnership continues to disseminate best practices across Europe. We believe that adult education is not a one-time event but an ongoing journey toward informed, engaged, and empowered citizenship.
