Objectives and Results
Project Objectives
VOICE-EU aims to foster active citizen participation in European democratic processes by enhancing awareness and engagement in both national and EU political contexts. The project responds to declining voter turnout in Italy, Greece, and Spain, where electoral participation has significantly decreased over recent decades.
Through seminars, digital workshops, an online game to combat fake news, and intergenerational video interviews, VOICE-EU provides citizens with tools to better understand political institutions and their everyday relevance. The ultimate goal is to revitalize democratic engagement, counter political extremism, and contribute to building a more cohesive, inclusive, and democratic Europe where citizens actively participate in shaping their collective future.
Project Results
VOICE-EU has produced concrete and lasting results, designed to be reused and adapted by other organisations across Europe: from the multilingual open-access website to the intergenerational documentary, from the online game on civic education to replicable seminar and workshop models, as well as the intergenerational interview methodology and the dissemination events that amplified the project’s impact.
